DTF Transfers
Why Manhattan Businesses Choose DTF Printing NY
Manhattan's pace is different. Brands here don't have time to wait a week for transfers, and they definitely don't have patience for washed-out colors or prints that crack after a few wears. We've been serving this market long enough to know exactly what it demands.
-
Same-Day Transfers to Manhattan
Orders placed before our 1 PM cut-off are produced the same day. You can pick up from our West Babylon warehouse, about an hour from Midtown, or arrange delivery. A lot of our Manhattan regulars have worked same-day pickup into their weekly workflow because it's just that reliable.
-
No Minimums, No Surprises
You're not locked into any quantity. A single transfer, a half sheet, a full gang sheet. It all gets the same production attention. There are no setup fees, no artwork charges, and no hidden costs that show up at checkout. What you see is what you pay.

Print Quality Built for This Market
Manhattan brands don't settle, and neither do we. Our ProColor system uses nine separate ink channels including orange, green, blue, and red on top of standard CMYK. The result is a wider color gamut, smoother gradients, and photorealistic output that holds up through repeated washing. Instant peel film is our standard across all DTF orders.
How Manhattan Clients Use DTF Transfers
From the Garment District to Washington Heights, Manhattan's creative and business community uses DTF printing across a surprisingly wide range of applications. Here's how different clients in the borough actually put it to work.

Fashion Brands and Streetwear Labels
Independent designers and streetwear brands in SoHo, the Lower East Side, and Harlem use DTF to produce small-batch drops without committing to large screen printing minimums. A typical first run is 25 to 75 transfers, testing colorways and sizing before scaling. ProColor 9-color output handles neon accents and complex gradient artwork that CMYK simply can't reproduce accurately, which matters a lot when your whole brand identity lives in the color.
Corporate Teams and Hospitality
Midtown offices, hotel groups, and restaurant brands across Manhattan order regularly for staff uniforms, branded polos, event shirts, and seasonal promotions.
These clients usually need consistent turnaround on repeat orders, anywhere from 30 to 200 pieces, and they need the color to match exactly across every run.
Our extended color gamut and consistent production process make that straightforward rather than stressful
Schools, Sports Leagues and Community Organization
From Upper East Side prep schools to community basketball leagues in Inwood, youth organizations across the borough use DTF for spirit wear, team uniforms, and event apparel. Orders in this category typically run 20 to 60 pieces at a time.
Durability matters most here since athletic gear gets washed two to three times a week during season, and our transfers are tested to hold through 75 wash cycles without cracking or fading.
Pop-Ups, Markets and Vendors
Manhattan's event calendar never stops. Vendors running pop-ups in Chelsea, Herald Square, or holiday markets in Bryant Park use DTF to produce merchandise quickly based on real demand rather than guessing weeks in advance.
Because there are no minimums, it's easy to order 15 pieces for a small event and scale up to 100 for a bigger one without changing suppliers or workflows.
Print Shops and Wholesale Decorators
A good number of our Manhattan clients are other print shops and decorators who use us as their DTF production partner. They handle the client relationship and artwork, we handle the transfers. No branding on the packaging, straightforward wholesale pricing, and reliable same-day turnaround make it easy to offer DTF to their own customers without the equipment investment.
Restaurants and Food Businesses
Manhattan has more restaurants per square mile than almost anywhere in the world, and they all need staff shirts, branded aprons, event tees, and promotional apparel. These are usually quick jobs, 10 to 40 pieces, needed fast. Same-day production and the ability to order without a minimum makes DTF the obvious choice over screen printing for most hospitality clients in the city.
Products Available for Manhattan Orders
-
ProColor DTF (9-Color)
Pair text with an image to focus on your chosen product, collection, or blog post. Add details on availability, style, or even provide a review.
-
Economy CMYK DTF
Priced at $0.02 per square inch, this is the right choice for high-volume runs with simpler graphics. Logos, text-based designs, and two or three color artwork all look sharp without the extended gamut premium. The durability and press-ready quality are the same as ProColor.
-
UV Transfers
Full-color UV-cured transfers designed for hard surfaces. Manhattan clients use these for branded tumblers, phone cases, acrylic keychains, product packaging, and retail display items. Single-sided, double-sided, holographic, and gold and silver UV options are all available.
-
Specialty DTF Options
For projects that need to stand out, we offer glitter DTF, gold foil, silver foil, super bright white, glow in the dark, reflective, and fluorescent transfers. These are popular in Manhattan's nightlife merch, limited-edition fashion, and event souvenir markets where a standard print just doesn't cut it.
-
3D Raised Rubberized Patches
Flexible, heat-press-ready patches with a bold raised texture. Used heavily by fashion brands and accessories labels for hats, jackets, bags, and footwear. They bend and flex with the garment without cracking, and the finish reads as premium rather than printed.
-
Die-Cut Vinyl Stickers
Custom-shaped stickers for branding, packaging, retail, and promotional use. Fast turnaround, sharp edges, and durable outdoor-grade vinyl.
Applying Your Transfers: The Quick Guide
Once your transfers arrive, the process is straightforward.
-
Heat Press Settings
Set your press to between 270 and 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Press for 8 to 12 seconds with medium to firm pressure. Both hot and cold peel work fine with our film, use whichever fits your workflow.
-
Final Press for Better Durability
After peeling, place a Teflon sheet or parchment paper over the transfer and press again for 5 seconds at the same temperature and pressure. This step is optional but it gives the print a cleaner finish and noticeably improves long-term wash durability.
-
Compatible Fabrics
DTF transfers work on cotton, polyester, cotton-poly blends, nylon, and most performance fabrics. They apply cleanly to both light and dark garments without any pre-treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get same-day delivery to Manhattan?
Yes. Orders placed before 1 PM are produced the same day and delivery to Manhattan is available. Contact us when placing your order to sort out the logistics.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimums on anything. You can order a single transfer or fill an entire gang sheet. No setup fees either.
What file format works best?
PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI or higher. If you have questions about your file before placing an order, reach out and we'll check it.
What is the difference between ProColor and Economy CMYK?
ProColor uses nine ink channels and reproduces a much wider range of colors, including neons and vivid hues that standard CMYK struggles with. Economy CMYK uses the four-color process and works well for simpler designs and logos. If color accuracy is important to your artwork, go ProColor.
Do you work with recurring Manhattan clients?
Yes, and many of our Manhattan clients order regularly. We keep files on record, know your preferences, and make repeat orders simple.
Can print shops order wholesale?
Absolutely. We work with decorators and print shops across Manhattan as a production partner. No minimums, no branding on the packaging, straightforward pricing.
